Textured Drop Shoulder Cardigan

Create Casual Elegance with the Textured Drop Shoulder Cardigan Knitting Pattern!

Use worsted weight yarn to knit a simple cardigan with a textured stitch in sizes XS-5XL.

Techniques you need to know to knit this pattern include the knit stitch, purl stitch, slip stitch, and how to k3tog.  There is a video tutorial for the stitch included.

This cardigan is knit in 5 pieces and seamed - 2 fronts, back and 2 sleeves.  The fronts and back are simple rectangles and the sleeves have minimal shaping (increases).  The front band is picked up and knit after the body is seamed.

The Mermaid Stitch is used for the fronts and back of the cardigan and is a simple stitch with an included video tutorial..

Knitting Needles: US Size 8 (5.00mm) and 9 (5.50mm) straight needles

Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, stitch holders or waste yarn
